CGI Announces Offer to Acquire Affecto

On August 22nd, 2017, CGI Group Inc. (NYSE:GIB, TSX:GIB.A) (“CGI”), a global provider of information technology (“IT”) and business process services, announced an all-cash tender offer of €4.55 ($5.34) per share to acquire Affecto Plc (HLSE:AFE1V) (“Affecto”), a provider of business intelligence and enterprise information management solutions and services. The offer implies an enterprise value of €104.5 million or $122.9 million, and the transaction is expected to close in Q1 FY2018 (Q4 CY2017).
