John Rakowski Joins Clearsight Advisors

Business Services and Technology investment bank, Clearsight Advisors, announced today that John Rakowski has joined as a Director. Rakowski brings more than 15 years of financial advisory and transaction experience with private and public companies to Clearsight’s clients. Mr. Rakowski joins Clearsight from Carl Marks Advisory Group where he executed M&A and Financial Restructuring transactions. Prior to this, Mr. Rakowski served as a vice president with Houlihan Lokey’s Business Services Practice where he worked with both Joel Kallett and Greg Treger, co-founders of Clearsight, to successfully build a strong investment banking coverage and execution team. Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Rakowski was a member of both Deutsche Bank’s and Lehman Brothers’ Technology M&A teams.

Mr. Rakowski has advised on numerous M&A and financing transactions in both the Business Services and Technology sectors in which Clearsight focuses. He has advised on transactions with market leading investors and strategic acquirors including, The Carlyle Group, Audax Partners, Deloitte, Nextel, RR Donnelley, and Symantec to name a few. Mr. Rakowski earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois and holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
