Clearsight Advises Oliver Wyman on the Purchase of Celent by GlobalData

Clearsight Advisors, Inc. (“Clearsight”) is pleased to announce a successful transaction in its Information Services practice. Clearsight served as the exclusive advisor to Oliver Wyman, LLC (“Oliver Wyman”), a business of Marsh McLennan Co., Inc. (“MMC”) (NYSE: MMC), on the purchase of Celent, LLC (“Celent” or the “Company”) by GlobalData plc (“GlobalData”) (LON: DATA).

Celent is a leading research, data, and advisory firm focused on financial services technology, and was previously acquired by Oliver Wyman, backed by MMC, in 2009. The Company was founded in 1999 and has a mission “to drive the amazing benefits of technology into financial services.” Celent develops proprietary research and data to help advise financial institutions, technology vendors, and investment and advisory firms. Recently it has been expanding its data offering and building digital solutions to help its clients access technology offerings and develop their go-to-market strategies.
