Clearsight Advises Mira Security in its Acquisition by Darktrace

Clearsight Advisors, Inc. (“Clearsight”) is proud to announce a successful transaction in its Cybersecurity practice. Clearsight served as the exclusive sellside advisor to Mira Security, Inc. (“Mira” or the “Company”) in its acquisition by Darktrace Holdings, Ltd. (“Darktrace”), a portfolio company of Thoma Bravo.

Mira Security is a cybersecurity solutions provider headquartered in Harmony, Pennsylvania, with engineering team members located across the US and South Africa. The Company’s proprietary technology – Mira Encrypted Traffic Orchestration (ETO) – is a dedicated virtual TLS decryption appliance for global enterprises and government agencies. Mira’s core mission is to provide visibility into network traffic as their clients transition to higher speeds and new architectures, while preserving data privacy and safeguarding compliance.

This acquisition will build upon Mira’s established partnership with Darktrace, a global leader in AI for cybersecurity, by joining Mira’s engineering team with Darktrace’s R&D division. Mira will strengthen Darktrace’s network security leadership by providing more insight from encrypted network traffic, more comprehensive decryption for customers in regulated industries, and help drive the next generation of Darktrace technology – resulting in deeper, more comprehensive visibility across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments for their global client base.
