Clearsight Advises Cumberland in its Acquisition by Tegria

Clearsight Advisors, Inc. (“Clearsight”) is pleased to announce another successful transaction in its market-leading Healthcare & Life Sciences Consulting and Outsourcing Practice. Clearsight served as the exclusive strategic financial advisor to Cumberland Consulting Group, LLC (“Cumberland” or “The Company”), a portfolio company of Tailwind Capital Group, LLC, on its sale to Tegria. This transaction affirms Clearsight’s position as a leader in advising consulting and technology firms serving the life sciences and healthcare industries.

Based in Franklin, TN, Cumberland is a leading healthcare consulting and services firm providing strategic advisory consulting services, technology services and managed services solutions to healthcare clients in the healthcare payer and provider markets.

The acquisition accelerates the growth of Tegria, launched by Providence in October 2020, to provide next-generation technologies and services to the healthcare sector. With Cumberland, Tegria further expands its capabilities and reach to payers, particularly in core claims and benefit administration systems, as well as care management systems. Cumberland brings complementary strengths to Tegria’s robust managed services offering, and additional breadth and depth to Tegria’s technology consulting expertise, primarily in the strategy, optimization and integration of leading enterprise systems.
