A Letter from Clearsight Advisors’ CEO: Celebrating 15 Years
This month marks an important milestone for Clearsight Advisors as we celebrate our 15th anniversary.
Anniversaries naturally invite reflection, and this one is no different. Looking back to July 2011, it is remarkable to see how far our firm, our clients, and the industries we serve have come. While much has changed over the past fifteen years, the principles that guided us at the beginning remain unchanged today.
Clearsight was founded all those years ago by a group of partners and friends including my Co-Founders Greg Treger and Beth Seidler, with a vision to build a different kind of investment bank. We believed that deep sector expertise, intellectual curiosity, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to client outcomes would create something unique in the market. Just as importantly, we wanted to build a firm where exceptional people could do exceptional work together.
Fifteen years later, I am humbled by how far that vision has come.
What began as a focused investment banking firm serving clients at the intersection of Professional and Technology-Enabled Services, has evolved into a market-leading advisor across key strategic sectors that power today’s Knowledge Economy. Some of these core focus areas include Strategic Business Advisory and Professional Services, Digital, Data & Cloud Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences Advisory Services, Cybersecurity/IT, Risk, and Government Services. Since our founding, Clearsight has advised on more than 170 successful transactions totaling over $20B in value and has partnered with hundreds of founders, management teams, private equity investors, and strategic acquirers on pivotal financial and strategic decisions.
While those milestones are meaningful, they are not what I am most proud of. What makes Clearsight special has always been our people. Our culture is our common thread, but we are not a homogenous collection of individuals. Our team brings together diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, which we believe lead to better thinking, stronger collaboration, and ultimately better outcomes for our clients.
Over the past fifteen years, we have grown from a small entrepreneurial team into a nationally recognized firm, yet our culture remains our greatest competitive advantage. Every success we have achieved has been made possible by colleagues who embody our core values of Integrity Above All, Teamwork and People Focus, Intellectual Curiosity, Impact, and Client Service. They have built an environment that values preparation over shortcuts, relationships over transactions, and long-term trust over short-term wins.
This year, we were honored to see those values reflected in Vault’s annual banking rankings, where Clearsight was recognized as a Top 10 Best Investment Banking Firm, the #1 Banking Firm for Women, and the #2 Banking Firm for Culture. These recognitions are especially meaningful because they reflect the culture our team has worked so hard to build.
Our impact extends beyond our team and the transactions we advise on. Throughout our history, we have sought to strengthen the broader Knowledge Economy ecosystem by bringing together founders, executives, investors, and industry leaders. Through initiatives such as our annual Knowledge Economy Summit, thought leadership efforts, and long-standing relationships across the M&A community, we continue to foster meaningful dialogue and connections that help shape the future of our markets.
As we celebrate this milestone, we are also entering an exciting new chapter. Earlier this year, Clearsight joined BlackArch Partners, a sister company under Regions Financial Corporation, on a shared broker-dealer platform, creating new opportunities to expand our capabilities while preserving the entrepreneurial culture and client-first approach that have defined both firms. We believe this partnership positions us to serve our clients even more effectively in the years ahead.
While anniversaries are an opportunity to reflect on what has been accomplished, they are also a reminder that our best work still lies ahead. The Knowledge Economy continues to evolve at a remarkable pace, creating new opportunities for businesses, investors, and advisors alike. Clearsight is well-positioned to help our clients navigate that future, and we remain as energized today as we were when we founded the firm in 2011.
On behalf of our entire team, thank you to our clients, colleagues, families, friends, and partners for your trust, support, and friendship over the past fifteen years. We are humbled by the success and good fortune we have experienced, and we look forward to building the next chapter together.
Warmest Regards,

Joel Kallett
