Clearsight Advisors, Inc. (“Clearsight”) is pleased to announce the completion of another highly successful transaction in the business consulting and professional services industry. Clearsight served as the exclusive strategic and financial advisor to ARRYVE LLC in its acquisition by Grant Thornton, LLP. This transaction deepens Clearsight’s position as the leader in advising high-end consulting firms.
Grant Thornton LLP has acquired ARRYVE LLC, a business consulting firm based in Bellevue, Washington. ARRYVE, which was founded in 2007, has consulting capabilities spanning domains that include marketing and sales, operations, human capital, finance and accounting, information technology, and corporate strategy. ARRYVE also champions a proprietary process called “Applied Catalystics™,” a philosophy of dynamic disruption and tested methodologies that deliver seriously structured solutions, and business insights that can only be inspired by a truly interdisciplinary team.
The 60 ARRYVE professionals, primarily based in Bellevue, will join Grant Thornton, and that location will become Grant Thornton’s 59th office. ARRYVE partners Christopher Smith and Chris Stephenson join Grant Thornton as Advisory principals.
“Clearsight took a long term view of advising our business with benchmarking and analysis that assisted our planning and operational decisions. They presented various growth options, and provided introductions to strategic partners that we would not have thought about without their guidance. They remained engaged throughout the diligence process and advised us through the end of the transaction,” said Chris Stephenson, Partner of ARRYVE. Christopher Smith, Partner of ARRYVE added, “The entire team was a pleasure to work with and remained available for calls and support regardless of day or time. It was a privilege to work with Clearsight Advisors.”
“We were delighted to work with the ARRYVE founding partners throughout this process. Chris and Chris built a great consulting business providing tangible solutions to the most complex business problems,” said Greg Treger, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Clearsight Advisors. “Clearsight was thrilled to work with ARRYVE’s rapidly growing and successful consulting practice that will provide Grant Thornton with a strong presence in the Pacific Northwest and bolster Grant Thornton’s Advisory practice globally,” added Gretchen Frary Seay, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Clearsight Advisors.
This announcement marks Clearsight’s third Professional Services transaction in 2016. Clearsight also advised Health Advances in its acquisition by PAREXEL and Revature on its growth capital investment led by University Ventures.
