Clearsight’s Seay Honored as new Advisory Council Member at The University of Texas McCombs School of Business

Dallas, TX , October 4, 2016 – Clearsight Advisors Co-Founder and Managing Director, Gretchen Frary Seay, has been appointed to serve on The Advisory Council for the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.  Council membership consists of individuals whose stature and accomplishments in the business world contribute significantly to the global awareness and reputation of the school.  Ms. Seay joined the Advisory Council effective September 1, 2016.   

The Red McCombs School of Business Advisory Council was established in 1960 to assist the Dean, faculty and staff of the school in becoming one of the top business schools in the nation.  McCombs looks to the Advisory Council to provide counsel to the Dean, faculty, and staff on strategy and issues affecting the future of the school and how to continue successfully producing outstanding business school graduates.  The executive committee considers nominations for membership each spring, and new three-year terms begin September 1st.

Ms. Seay leads Clearsight Advisors’ Dallas office and manages the firm’s Big Data and Analytics and Public Sector Technology practices.  For 20 years, Ms. Seay has been executing M&A and financing transactions for technology and business services clients.  Ms. Seay earned a B.A. in International Studies from the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington and later earned an MBA in finance from the University of  Chicago Booth School of Business.  She has received numerous awards for her transactions including Cross Border Deal of the Year and ACG Deal of the Year.
