Clearsight Promotes Two from Within to Position the Firm for Continued Growth

Clearsight Advisors, Inc. (“Clearsight” or the “Firm”) is pleased to announce that the Firm has promoted Alex Johnston and Kyle McNickle to Vice President.  Messrs. Johnston and McNickle both joined Clearsight in 2015 in the role of Associate and have both contributed to the growth and success of the Firm.  Messrs. Johnston and McNickle have been valuable to our clients, our junior banker training efforts, and they continue to help grow our strengthening brand.  We see this as a milestone for them individually in their professional development and critical for the Firm’s continued growth and success

Mr. Johnston joined Clearsight from Wells Fargo Securities, where he started his investment banking career as an associate in the M&A group.  Prior to investment banking, he was an economic consultant at Charles River Associates where he managed consulting assignments involving the application of big data economic and proprietary analytical techniques.  Mr. Johnston earned an MBA from the University of Virginia (Darden) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Haverford College.  Clearsight Co-Founder and Managing Director, Gretchen Frary Seay said, “Alex has repeatedly demonstrated high intellectual acumen coupled with the ability to walk clients through what can be a complicated process.  The entire Senior Team is thrilled to see him progress in his career at Clearsight.”

Prior to joining Clearsight, Mr. McNickle started his investment banking career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York and San Francisco.  In addition to Mr. McNickle’s experience at Goldman, he spent time at Narrative Science, a Battery Ventures-backed technology startup in Chicago.  Mr. McNickle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Pre-Medicine Concentration from the College of the Holy Cross.  Greg Treger, Clearsight Co-Founder and Managing Director said this about Mr. McNickle, “Kyle has skills that make him a natural in the boardroom with the Client.  He has the ability to take those skills and represent the Firm well.  We are excited to see him progress at Clearsight and expect to see great things.”

Clearsight has continued to grow in 2016 and has added key practice areas in Compliance and Digital Transformation to compliment their existing leading practices in Professional Services and Big Data & Analytics.  Clearsight’s unrivaled position as the advisor of choice for leading companies in the Business Services and Technology markets is punctuated by another record year for the firm.  “We are confident that Alex and Kyle will continue the firm’s hallmark client service and deep domain expertise to maintain Clearsight’s leadership role in defining key M&A strategies where technology, services and data continue to rapidly converge,” emphasized Clearsight Co-Founder, CEO and Managing Director, Joel Kallett.
