Clearsight Advisors, Inc. has completed another successful transaction in their Big Data and Analytics Practice. Clearsight served as the exclusive strategic and financial advisor to Datasource Consulting in its acquisition by EXL.
EXL (NASDAQ: EXLS), a leading Operations Management and Analytics company, announced that it acquired Datasource Consulting, LLC, the Denver-based specialists in Business Intelligence and Enterprise Data Management. The acquisition enhances EXL’s capabilities to advise clients on data management and governance strategies, architect and implement their data infrastructure, and manage their data assets on an ongoing basis.
Datasource Consulting provides full lifecycle BI and EDM solutions, including data architecture, data integration, data quality, master data management, data governance, test data management, reporting and analytics, and program management. Experienced in diverse technology environments, Datasource consultants have the resources to implement and optimize flexible, tailor-made solutions for any client engagement.
Steve Dine, Managing Partner and Founder of Datasource Consulting, LLC said, “We evaluated a number of investment bankers and Clearsight stood out from the pack. Instead of lowering our expectations, they provided a clear path to achieving them. They took time to listen and understand our goals and didn’t try to sell us on interested parties that weren’t a good fit. Their team worked relentlessly to prepare us for a competitive process and minimize our time away from managing the business. They leveraged their expansive strategic and financial acquirer relationships to thoroughly explore our options and find the right partner for us. We couldn’t have chosen a better advisor to help us through this transformational transaction.”
“Clearsight has the great fortune to work with exceptional high-growth technology companies such as Datasource. The Company’s thought leadership in Enterprise Data Management is second to none and we’re excited to continue to watch Datasource’s success as a part of EXL.” said Gretchen Frary Seay, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Clearsight Advisors.
